lakshana-recipes: Bread and egg fry


  • Bread slices - four
  • Onions - 1-2 (sliced)
  • Tomatoes - 2 (chopped)
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Cumin seeds - half of tsp
  • Sambhar or chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Eggs - 2-3
  • Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
  • Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste


  • Heat oil to the pan and upload cumin. Then upload curry leaves, onions and fry until it becomes translucent.
  • Now upload tomatoes and fry till it becomes mashy. Add salt and chilly powder.
  • Fry for a minute after which add eggs. Mix nicely.
  • When the eggs 3/4th done, add the chopped bread pieces.
  • Keep blending until its finished completely.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  • Sprinkle a few pepper whilst serving.

Tip for the recipe -You also can upload little Garam masala. I need to maintain it slight. So I did not upload a good deal spice powders. Do not over cook dinner the eggs otherwise it becomes tough.
